Gina N. Cervetti

Gina Cervetti is a professor of educational studies at the University of Michigan. She studies language and comprehension development in knowledge-enriching instruction and teaches classes on literacy methods curriculum design. Gina has served as a PI and co-PI on grants focused on science literacy integration for elementary age and middle school students, including grants from the National Science Foundation. Her research has appeared in numerous books and journals, including the coauthored book with Jacqueline Barber No More Science Kits or Texts in Isolation: Teaching Science and Literacy Together.
