My greatest interest has been studying reading research to determine how to improve the

intervention courses designed for our high school struggling readers. I enjoy finding ways to put the most relevant research in the hands of teachers who don’t have the time to do the research themselves. And I still live for the thrill of those now too-few opportunities when I get to work directly with high school students themselves.
