Steve Amendum

Steve Amendum (@SteveAmendum) is a professor of literacy education at the University of Delaware, where he teaches courses related to literacy research, development, assessment, and instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. His research interests include early reading intervention, literacy development and instruction for multilingual learners, and evidence-based classroom instruction. Amendum is currently the principal investigator or coprincipal investigator for two federally funded grants to support professional learning for classroom and/or ESL teachers and positive language and literacy outcomes for young multilingual learners.
