Helen Perkins and Crystal D. Cook will share strategies and resources that coaches can use to support SEL-embedded literacy instruction, including
- How to integrate SEL into existing coaching and feedback cycles
- Activities for applying an SEL lens to literacy teaching and learning
- High-impact SEL practices for reading and writing instruction
- Ideas for modeling SEL in teacher language and student-centered practice
Who should register: Coaches, reading specialists, literacy supervisors/coordinators, and instructional leads. Classroom teachers and preservice educators may also benefit from the program.
