Jeanne R. Paratore

Jeanne R. Paratore is Professor Emerita, Literacy Education, at Boston University Wheelock College of Education. She is a former classroom teacher, reading specialist, and Title I director. She has published on issues related to family literacy, teaching struggling readers, grouping, and literacy coaching. She is a member of the Reading Hall of Fame and recipient of the New England Reading Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award
