Dr. Heather H. Woodley (@ProfHeatherW) is a clinical associate Professor of TESOL, Bilingual Education and World Language Education and the codirector of Childhood Education in the Department of Teaching and Learning in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development at New York University. Her research and teaching focus on anti-racist, social justice–based, and multilingual education collaboratively with communities, families, and youth. Previously, she taught middle and high school TESOL and ELA in the Bronx and Washington, DC, and was a teacher-educator at City College, City University of New York, as well as with the New York City and District of Columbia Teaching Fellows.
