Dr. Mark B. Pacheco

Dr. Mark B. Pacheco is an assistant professor of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and Bilingual Education at the University of Florida. His research interests include the language and literacy practices of emerging bilingual students (EBs) and how teachers can support these practices. He is currently part of three research projects that investigate (1) how EBs strategically translate texts to support their language and literacy development, (2) how EBs participate in biology classrooms, and (3) how EBs engage in digital multimodal composition.
