Kimberly Eckert
Kimberly Eckert (@2018LATOY) is a high school English teacher and reading specialist who serves as the innovative programs coordinator for West Baton Rouge Parish Schools in Louisiana. Kim was an integral part of SEL-focused Equity in Education Program at ILA 2019, where she spoke about trauma-responsive instruction. She’s currently a top 50 finalist for the 2020 Global Teacher Prize.
