Amanda Goodwin

Amanda Goodwin is an Associate Professor at Vanderbilt University. She is the Editor of Reading Research Quarterly and has taught in public and private schools at the elementary, middle, and collegiate levels. She is interested in how language supports literacy, and specifically how aspects of word knowledge support the increased reading demands that adolescent readers face. Her work aims to improve understandings and lead to better design of assessments and interventions that improve literacy.
