Stephanie Al Otaiba

Stephanie Al Otaiba (@Steph_AlOtaiba) is the Patsy and Ray Caldwell Centennial Chair in Teaching and Learning at Southern Methodist University and is a faculty affiliate of the Florida Center for Reading Research. A former special educator who worked in the United Arab Emirates for more than a decade, her research focuses on early literacy interventions, response to intervention, diverse learners, multitiered systems of support, and teacher training. Al Otaiba has published more than 140 articles and book chapters related to these interests. Currently, she serves as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Learning Disabilities.
