Teré Crawford

Teré Crawford is completing her seventh year teaching first grade in the Capital School District in Delaware. She received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Delaware State University and her master’s degree in educational leadership from Wilmington University. While working in the Capital School District, she has had the pleasure to engage in many leadership roles which have contributed to her professional development while enhancing student learning. These opportunities include teaching and learning, blended learning, and early literacy cohorts as well as participating in teacher mentorship and curriculum/grading workgroups. She has a true passion for working with young children in their foundational years, specifically in the area of reading, as she believes this skill is a high priority and essential to their future success and achievement.
